About Dream Sleep OT

Hello, I’m Jessinta, founder of Dream Sleep Occupational Therapy — and an Occupational Therapist with a deep passion for helping families sleep better.

My own journey into sleep support began after welcoming my first daughter in 2021. Like many new parents, I experienced firsthand how sleep deprivation affects your mood, relationships, and overall wellbeing. That experience inspired me to become a Certified Child Sleep Consultant through the Institute of Sensitive Sleep, blending scientific understanding with empathy and real-world experience.

My Mission – Helping Families Rest and Reconnect

I believe sleep should never feel like a battle. Every baby and family is different, and the path to better sleep starts with understanding those differences.

Through one-to-one personalised sleep support, I help parents and caregivers:

  • Understand their child’s unique sleep needs and cues

  • Create realistic, nurturing routines that support self-settling

  • Build confidence using gentle, evidence-based approaches

  • Foster connection and emotional safety around sleep

Working in occupational therapy

I completed my Master of Occupational Therapy at Curtin University (2014) and have since worked across diverse areas including:

  • Paediatrics

  • Mental Health

  • Neurology

  • Emergency Medicine

  • Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation

This extensive background allows me to approach every sleep challenge with a whole-family perspective. I integrate principles from occupational therapy — such as sensory processing, emotional regulation, and environment modification — to design sleep strategies that actually work for your lifestyle.

A Holistic, Evidence-Based Approach to Sleep

Whether you’re a first-time parent or managing toddler bedtime battles, I use an evidence-based framework that focuses on:
