Sleep is a vital part of a child’s health and wellbeing, and difficulties with sleep can affect daily routines, participation, learning, and family functioning.
Occupational Therapists are qualified health professionals who can help with:
Understanding the routines, habits, and environments that impact sleep
Supporting children with additional needs or developmental differences (including ADHD, autism, and sensory processing challenges)
Providing evidence-based strategies to improve sleep quality and consistency
Helping parents and carers feel confident in managing sleep routines at home
Sleep support is focused on education, routine-building, and environment-based strategies, rather than medical interventions.

Focuses on realistic, neurodiversity-affirming approaches that respect each child’s individual needs
